Christmas Cross

 

 

This Christmas Cross was made as a gift.  But similar ones will soon be available at Mightymom's etsy shop as well as at the Catholic Book Exchange.

 

The cross is in an 8x10 frame.  The style of the frame may be different than pictured and some variation in the placement of the red and green colors in the cross will occur.

Where Have I Been??

Well, let's just say it's been a FUN summer!
My 2 week vacation starts on Monday and school starts a week from Monday.....so guess I'll see y'all after Labor Day!! Have a good time without me!

This one is lovely!  A little smaller than the others, the cross is 7" long, 13" with tassel and 5" wide.  

I think the pure white turned out just beautiful!  Would be perfect for a wedding gift!  Is starched so it's flat and stiff, suitable for use as a Bible marker, a bookmark, or You could mat and frame it in any color to add a stunning touch to your favorite room!!

This beautiful cross is hand crocheted in burgundy with a pure white edging. It's been starched so that it's flat and stiff. It is perfect to use as a bookmark, Bible marker, and is also suitable for framing to add charm to any room. The cross is 8 1/2" long and 5" wide (at widest and longest points).                       

And this one is hand crocheted in delicate pastel variegated thread. This cross is almost 9" long and 5 1/4" wide (at widest and longest points).                        

Sweet Rosary

This rosary is in the sweetest variegated pastel colors!   pink, blue, green, yellow, purple, they're all there.  Perfect Easter, birthday or First communion gift!!



   Because they are 100% crocheted these rosaries weigh almost nothing and will fit easily in any size pocket. Each large bead on the rosary is accented with a small black bicone bead. There are also 3 black bicone beads on the center piece of the rosary and a beautiful 1" long silver crucifix.

Pink and Green Croos Bookmark

This beautiful pink and green cross is hand crocheted and starched so that it's flat with some stiffness.  It is perfect to use as a bookmark, Bible marker, and is also suitable for framing.

The cross is 9" long and 5 1/4" wide (at widest and longest points)

The entire bookmark with tassel is just shy of 16" long.

A Cross Bookmark

I tried out a new pattern.  This was fun to make.  Reminded me of my Grandmother who used to sit and crochet lace items all the time.   This bookmark is a gift for the boys' Music Teacher at school, who is retiring (**insert sad faces here**).

I have some tweaking to do to make the pattern a little cleaner and lay flat better and then there will be some of these up at my etsy shop.  In a variety of colors!! 

A Family of Rosaries

These rosaries were made for a family that we know. 

 Because they are 100% crocheted these rosaries weigh almost nothing and will fit easily in any size pocket.  Each large bead on the rosary is accented with a black seed bead.  There are also 3 black seed beads on the center piece of each rosary.  These were made in the recipient's favorite color. 

Rosaries such as these would make a useful and meaningful birthday, Mother's or Father's Day or Christmas gift!! 

An Example

This is a rosary I made for a friend.

It has a 2" long silver crucifix and

there are black beads crocheted into each large bead and on the middle triangle.

Beginning of a Business
